with regards to preparing and finalizing of the sling workshop
This is the first ever sling workshop in the country designed for medical professionals – nurses, pediatricians and OB-Gynecologists!!!
This is to:
1. Help neonates recuperate faster through passive soft touch/passive massage
2. Help nurses multitask efficiently at the pediatric ward
3. Educate medical professionals with babywearing as an extension and supplementation after KMC
This sling workshop will include topic discussion on the essentials in babywearing + skills demo
Each attendee will be given
• Workshop kit (workbook, pen, ID)
• Certificate of Completion with CPD units
The hospital will be given 2 baby carriers (suitable for newborn) and safe babywearing posters as well
❣️aside from learning more, this is one of my driving motivation why i took up my babywearing consultancy—to be certified and share babywearing practice in the medical world—to help families from bump (belly wrapping) to birth and enjoy the all the wonderful benefits of babywearing
