I am a trained babywearing consultant with years of babywearing experience.
I received my certification last 2019 and hasn’t stopped creating events, conducting classes, organizing sling meets, sling dance, sling walks, virtual babywearing conference and other pertinent and related babywearing activities since then. I am a Professional Member and steering group member of the ACESL (Association of Carrying Educators and Sling Libraries) . I am also a mental health first responder.

Why is it a lot better to seek out professional babywearing consult, you may ask.

“Why do I need to pay for a consult if I can ask for pieces of advice from other babywearers for free?”

Whilst there are many searchable articles and blog-posts on the internet, and surely thousands, if not millions, of babywearing-related videos available across all social media platforms, nothing beats one-on-one support that can offer unique, appropriate and well-fitting, updated advice to you and your baby’s current needs.
Each one of us is unique-from size, shape, body built, lifestyle, medical conditions, budget range and so on, and in our consultation I will be taking all those in consideration to provide the best option for you at the moment.
Yes, it does come with a minimal fee. Your fee covers my training expenses and business tax returns, time, resources such as visuals, data charges for online consults and transportation expenses for house calls or meet-ups. And remember that we can never put a price on our child’s safety and comfort, right? It is priceless beyond measure.

“Ok, I want to set up for an appointment, how do I know which type of consult is appropriate for me?”

Babywearing consultation types are as follows:
1. Babywearing 101 and Consultation
— duration: 90 mins
— great for first time babywearers
— scope: safe and ergonomic babywearing, different types of carriers, and sling fitting

2. Bump, Birth and Beyond Package Consultation
— duration: 40 mins x 4 sessions
— great for babywearing support from pregnancy and beyond
— scope: belly wrapping, babywearing newborns, feeding in slings, babywearing infants and toddlers

3. Consultation and or Troubleshooting
— duration: 30 mins
— great for quick fitchecking of carriers

4. Special Cases
— duration: 90 – 120 mins
— great for cases such as Pregnancy, Tandemwearing, Premies, Twins, Congenital Problems, Abnormal Physical Conditions, Feeding in Slings, etc


Consultation types may be through :
House Call
– I will go to your house and bring appropriate baby carriers and visuals

Meet-up
-We will set up a meeting some place like in a coffee shop

Online
-We will schedule an online meet via GMeet / Zoom
