Last October 29, 2020, the Asian Babywearing Professionals organized its first ever event–the Asian Babywearing Virtual Meet 2020! This year, we are blessed to have celebrated it with four countries – Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia and Philippines.
Each participating country was lead by a leader to help facilitate the event. In Indonesia, we have Azizah Al Aziz of YAPENMI. She is also the owner of Bundo Uwais. In Japan, we have Masayo Sonoda, owner and founder of Babywearing Labo and Yukana Yanai Nakaima, Director of Japan Babywearing Association. We also have Ng Mei Theng, owner of Sunshine Bliss and Norhani Mohd Nor, owner of HaniBabywears, from Malaysia. And me, Sheilla Mae Lim, founder of the ABP organization and initiator of the event, from the Republic of the Philippines.
